Public Beaches

The Uusikaupunki area has 11 public beaches maintained by the city, located along both the sea and inland lakes. The beaches closest to the town centre are Santtioranta and Hiunranta, with Hiunranta being particularly suitable for families with young children. The beaches are managed by the City of Uusikaupunki Sports Services.

For visitors and outdoor enthusiasts, comfortable barbecue shelters have been built at the Karhuluoto and Pyhämaa beaches. Toilet facilities are also available at the beach areas.

At Raulio Beach, Vintri Beach, and Pitkäluoto Fishing Harbour in Pyhämaa, visitors will find traditional grill huts (kotas). Bringing your own firewood is recommended to ensure availability.
