In this concert, Raija Kilpeläinen-Somero recites poems by Tuula Järvinen, while pianist Jouni Somero performs works by J.S. Bach alongside his own chorale-inspired compositions.
Raija Kilpeläinen-Somero is a teacher of music and performing arts who has studied singing and oral performance in Finland and Germany. Pianist Jouni Somero has given more than 3,300 concerts around the world and is one of Finland's most prolific

Zaku Poker Run Sat 11 July from 12:00 PM, Suukarintie 6. Organised by the Uusikaupunki Motorcycle Club together with Restaurant Zaku, this fun poker run invites participants to enjoy a scenic ride while collecting playing cards along the route to build the best possible poker hand. Motorists' Church Service Sun 12 July at 10:00 AM, Kalanti Church, Pyhän Olavin tie 6. The service features Juhani Kapiainen, Liisa Kuusela and music by Kari Vuola. After the service, grilled sausages and juice will be served in the parish courtyard, and visitors can admire a variety of classic vehicles. Exhibitions
- Blankets and Clothing – Made in Uusikaupunki Exhibition, Wahlberg Museum House, Ylinenkatu 11.
Uusikaupunki's textile industry flourished especially during the 1940s–1960s and employed a large number of women, although the first textile factory was established as early as 1919. The city's most significant textile company, Uudenkaupungin Villatavaratehdas (later Uuvi Oy), operated until 1987. In addition, more than ten other textile companies manufactured fabrics, socks and clothing. The exhibition presents the history of these companies and shares the stories of the people who worked in the industry.

Open: Tue–Sun 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. This year's main exhibition focuses on Sea Rescue. Produced by the Uusikaupunki Maritime Historical Association, the exhibition presents both local and national sea rescue operations, past and present. It also features selected artefacts and photographs from the museum's collections. Free entry. - Miniature Exhibition (Kylähiidentie 55, Kalanti).
Open daily: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. The exhibition features around 80 miniature models of historical objects, including cars, aeroplanes, motorcycles and ships, as well as a scale model of Tutankhamun's tomb.

As a special attraction this summer, the people of Tupsula have also created a beautiful crocheted tassel boat, which is on display at the Pakkahuone waterfront. Free entry. - Gallery Horisontti. The main gallery features paintings by Hiltu Sallinen, while the studio space presents prints and paintings by Tiina Kuusikoski. The exhibition opening takes place on Thu 2 July at 6:00 PM.

- Ingrid Biese Summer Exhibition – The World Can Be A Beautiful Place, Iso-Vehasi Island.
The exhibition is located at Strandstugan and can be reached by boat. Boats may be moored at the pier on the western side of Naskalvik Bay on Iso-Vehanen. First follow the line formed by two white boards from the green navigation marker at Rantakari, then continue through the middle of the bay to the pier. From there, it is approximately a 200-metre walk to the gallery. Open 24 hours a day.
Art House Pilvilinna

Pilvilinna (Hiuntie 212) is a unique art destination filled with joy, colour and surprises. Naïve paintings and humorous sculptures by artist Raija Nokkala can be found throughout the Pilvilinna grounds. Changing art exhibitions, a sculpture trail full of delightful creations and the beautiful seaside surroundings make Pilvilinna a one-of-a-kind destination for visitors of all ages.

- Bonk Museum & Children's Invention Workshop (Siltakatu 2).
The Bonk Museum presents the bizarre and humorous world of the fictional industrial empire Bonk Business Inc. The exhibition features unusual Bonk machines, including non-functioning devices and imaginative inventions dating from the 19th century to the 1950s. Wellbeing, Outdoor Activities & Sports
Beach Yoga at Santtio Beach (Kalalokkikuja 14) every Wednesday from 9:00–10:00 AM.
The class includes breathing exercises, body awareness, stretching and strengthening movements. Please bring your own exercise/yoga mat, towel or blanket, and a water bottle. Dress according to the weather. The class will be cancelled in case of rain.
