Cafe Zakun Ranta

Cafe Zakun Ranta is near the center of Uusikaupunki, right by the scenic waterfront of Town Bay.

Located in the historic courtyard of the former sawmill's steam power plant—now known as Voimala Zaku—this cozy café is dedicated to motor enthusiasts. The café is licensed to serve alcohol and operates from May to September, with special Motor Café evenings every Wednesday from 4:00 pm onwards, featuring cars and motorcycles as the main theme.

In addition to great food and drinks, visitors can enjoy live music performances, a relaxed atmosphere, and the opportunity to meet like-minded people. The courtyard also hosts an antique shop and other curiosities. You're welcome to soak in the ambiance—even without a vehicle!

Throughout the summer, the café will also host themed weeks and exhibitions. One of the highlights of the season is Möljä Miittinki, an annual gathering of vintage and specialty vehicles, including classic cars, motorcycles, mopeds, and trucks of all kinds. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, August 9, bringing together hundreds of unique rides.

The café is open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Welcome to visit by car, motorcycle, or even on foot! In September, we are open on Wednesdays only as a motorcycle café.
