Guided bus tour Tue 19 April, 6–7 pm
Celebratory tour for the 405th anniversary of Uusikaupunki. Tour departs from the bus station. Price 15 €/person. Cash payment on site. Registrations on 13 April: visituusikaupunki.fi/opastukset

Guided history-themed walking tour on Wed 6 July and 20 July, 2–3.30 pm, Sat 23 July and Fri 29 July, 11 am – 1 pm. The guided tours make a stop at the market square to listen to the Fanfare of the day of the Crusell Music Festival. Tour starts at the Pakkahuone guest harbour. Price 10 €/person.

The Road to the Treaty of Nystad guided tours
Wed 13 July at 2 pm and Tue 30 August at 6 pm.

Tour starts at Pakkahuone guest harbour and ends in Rauhanpuisto, Alinenkatu 34. 
A little walking tour to where big things took place. The market square and the Peace Memorial are well known places, but where did the negotiators live? Where did they have their offices? During these tours, you learn about the Treaty of Nystad as well as the events that took place here and elsewhere in Finland during the Great Northern War. Price 10 €/person.

“Stories by the Bay” guided walking tour
Wed 29 June at 6 pm and Thu 8 September at 6 pm. 
Departs from the Sorvakko side of the bay, in front of Hotel Aittaranta, Aittaranta 2. The “Stories by the Bay” guided tour delves into the history of notable men in Uusikaupunki. You will learn about the town, its past and its present. Along the way, you will also hear stories about sailing ships. Price: 10 €/person.

Guided walking tour with costumed character guide Sanni Winter
On Wednesday 27 July at 2 pm. Experience the town as it was between 1859 and 1936 as told by influential townswoman Sanni Winter. Sanni Winter is played by tour guide Riitta Kilkku. Departure from the Pakkahuone Guest harbour. Price: 10 €/person.


Guided walking tour of the Seven Great Fires of Uusikaupunki
Wed 3 August at 6 pm.
The Seven Great Fires tour takes you on a journey through time from 1685 to 1855. The walking tour is approximately 1.5 km long, and you will see the spots where the fires started and hear stories about the fires. The tour departs from the so-called “penguin park” by Lake Ruokolanjärvi on Vakka-Suomenkatu and ends up at the market square.  The tour is led by tour guide Merikki Jäntti. Price 10 €/person.

Weekdays 60 €/first hour, subsequent hours 30 €/hour.

Sundays 70 €/first hour, subsequent hours 35 €/hour.

Organisation fee 25 €/group.
